On Monday, March 8 Carlos traveled to Guatemala City to be able to fly to Honduras today, March 9, to join Isidro in the Tolpan recording project. But after he arrived in the city and was settled in his hotel, he got a call from Crispin in Honduras who said not to come now. So, today, Carlos will be traveling back to Sololá on a bus with his computer and other valuables. Please pray for a safe return, and for continued progress in overcoming the resistance to this recording by the Indigenous Managing Council (see the March 4 post below).
Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, you are mightily at work in the Tolpan area, bringing Your Word and Your light to them! Thank you for Your heart of love for them! Please keep pushing through and breaking through on behalf of the Tolpan people. Set them free to know Your love, and Your truth.
We ask for Your angles to accompany and protect Carlos as he returns to Sololá. We ask for Your continued strength, hope, peace and encouragement for Isidro as he continues alone in this project. Give him wisdom and clever ideas in how to move the recording forward more quickly and easily. And continue to bless his wife and daughter at home. In Jesus name, Amen.
